It has always been my personal belief that early intervention and access to positive role models are crucial components in the development of confident, well-rounded children and young adults.
The members of the African American Men’s Association also share that belief.
We come from every facet of society and areas throughout the Finger Lakes to unite with one common purpose; improving the quality and quantity of opportunities afforded to the youth of our community. It is my pleasure to work with such a committed group of men and women.
Our signature programs (Young Champions Mentoring, College Life Skills, and Scholarships) seek to influence our youth at a critical time in their lives. Decisions made during adolescence can have lasting impact on future achievements. Our members in conjunction with our community partners have accepted the challenge of making sure that success is within reach of every child in our community.
On behalf of the AAMA, I thank you for your continued support and look forward to working with each of you as we move forward in our mission to help the children of our community reach their full potential.
